Katie is a very driven, passionate person.  With an eclectic background in theatre, science, modeling, and management, acting has always been a dream for her. After dabbling in various facets of the entertainment industry while focusing on a full time career in healthcare, the support of the cast and crew of Hopeless: A Star Wars Story was the encouragement she needed to make a go of things.  Since then she has added a variety of credits to her resume.  Katie tackles each project with the same zest for life that she exudes in everyday activities.

Katie has most recently made a splash on the internet as the character Katie Merp on many social streaming platforms.  Katie was awarded a trophy by her cast mates for her portrayal of June in June's Baby Shower, which can be viewed on the OnChannel.  She was also part of an award winning 48 Hour Film Festival team in 2018 as a co-writer, costumer, location scout, and actress.

She is a popular official broadcast host on BIGO Live app and proud co-producer of Consequences.

 

Katie is also the proud mother of two aspiring stars of her own, Ben and Ava and says, "You can make excuses, or you can make movies.  None of this is easy, but if it was, everyone would be doing it."
